New trailer accompanies confirmation of Western release of Yakuza 5 in 2015

Sega and Sony have decided to bring Yakuza 5 to the west, issuing an announcement trailer confirming that the crime action game will make its way to the PS3 in US and Europe in 2015.

While a concrete release date hasn’t been narrowed down, it has been revealed that the game will see a digital-only release in those two regions. Furthermore, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza: Dead Souls are now available via PSN. Yakuza 5, which revolved around five protagonists – including Kazuma Kiryu’s journey and conflict in the Yakuza underworld – was released back in 2012 for the PS3 in Japan, so it is good to see that the action-adventure will finally reach a wider audience.

Apart from the main plot, there are also numerous mini-games to indulge in, as well as the Another Drama series of side stories focusing on each of the protagonists.
