New gorgeous screens of PS4-exclusive Deep Down demonstrate the power of Panta Rhei
Capcom’s upcoming PS4-exclusive free-to-play online action RPG gets a few news screenshots today, focusing on the varied randomised dungeons which players will explore in Deep Down. Despite these images not being high resolution ones, viewers can nonetheless ascertain the level of detail and the excellent quality of lighting and effects made possible by the developers’ Panta Rhei engine.
The screens indicate that there will be varied environments and dungeons, including ones with magma lining the walls and others encased in ice and frost; we also get to see a couple of new monsters, including one which emits light from its face (am guessing that’s how it detects its enemies). All in all, the game looks to be shaping up quite well, and we remain eager to see and know more. Let’s hope Capcom grants us our wish and issues new some gameplay footage and confirms a Western release date soon. Until then, satisfy yourself with these previously released images and videos.
