New Battlefield 4 video details intuitive Battlelog features

DICE is taking Battlelog to a whole new level with Battlefield 4 as explained in the trailer below. Players can install a companion app in their mobile phones/tablets and use them as a second screen for a dynamic mini-map, even setting attack points on the map. You can change your loadouts during the respawn waiting time or browse for the server you wish to play on via your phone or tablet without quitting your game. Global leader boards is a new addition to Battlelog where players can track the statistics of other players around the world. Another new addition is Missions- which will allow you to create a specific challenge among your friends. Battlefield 4′s Battlelog promises to deliver an immerse and better experience, find out more in the video below.

Battlefield 4 is set to release on 29 October for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
