Naughty Dog reveals The Last of Us Alternate Ending
Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann – Creative Director for the studio’s recently released survival game The Last of Us – has issued a single image via his twitter account, which appears to be concept artwork depicting an alternate ending to the hit PS3-exclusive title. Obvious spoilers follow: The image shows Tess about to slit Joel’s neck; the latter character is sitting bound to a chair. This means that Ellie would have died as the Fireflies attempted to create a cure for the cordyceps brain infection (CBI) pandemic; therefore humanity would have been saved, but the two main characters Joel and Ellie (NPC) would have died.
