Mirror’s Edge 2 E3 2014 Trailer sees the return of Faith

DICE did not disappoint fans eagerly awaiting a glimpse of Mirror’s Edge 2, and showcased brief bits of rough conceptual prototype footage with protagonist Faith free-running her way through the city’s rooftops and also taking out several opponents, who were armed with batons or guns, using her stylish parkour-meets-melee skills. They also talk about how they intend to make the game more open in nature, allowing for multiple routes to one’s objective, with more skilled player likely to discover various risky but rewarding shortcuts.

The devs also tease abut the main characters thought process and decisions, such as why she chose to get a tattoo on her eye, as well as the attention paid to sound effects to ensure that combat moves feel just right.
