0Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor trailers celebrate launch, detail Season Pass content
Monolith Productions’ action RPG is now out for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, due to why we have this launch trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor; there’s also another video below which details the contents of the Season Pass. The action RPG will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on 18 November.
The launch trailer starts with the brutal killing of Talion’s family, and then moves on to his uneasy alliance with the wraith Celebrimbor, the one who created the rings of power, following which we see various characters – both friendly and otherwise – that the protagonist will encounter on his journey for vengeance against the Dark Lord’s forces.
Meanwhile, the second video expands on all that purchasing the Season Pass – priced at £20/$25 – entails in addition to access to future content: the Guardians of the Flaming Eye’ Orc Warband mission pits you against Sauron’s elite legion and the chance to procure epic runes; the ‘Trials of War’ challenge series lets you fight select enemies in different challenge modes; Lord of the Hunt contains hidden lairs to explore, unique ruins to collect and powerful monsters to fight; The Bright Lord allows you to step into the shoes of Celebrimbor and enter into combat against Sauron and his minions.
