Deep Silver sends forth a new video for the post-apocalyptic first person shooter Metro: Last Light, reminding us of the pessimist’s view of mankind’s true nature and that history is prone repeat itself. Set mostly underground in a bleak and ravaged Moscow, the story-based trailer entitled ‘’Salvation’ shows humanity repeating mistakes (hint*dictatorial regime*), while attempting to survive the monstrous remnants that plague the few left.
Will the human race band together to survive, or hurtle towards their destruction via infighting in their blind quest for power and control? Metro: Last Light arrives on 14 May in North America and 17 May across Europe on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
