Lords of the Fallen Gameplay Demo, Images depict Character Development, Gear and enemies

CI Games showed off their upcoming action RPG Lords of the Fallen at E3 with a new video and images, and even though many of you may not have been able to make it to the event, you can always find out what you missed here. The images consist of screenshots of the main character fighting numerous enemies, and artwork showcasing environments like the entrance to the Catacombs and opponents such as Demonic Spiders.

More importantly, the Gamespot video shows combat with numerous opponents with the protagonist using cleric gear and a spear/staff and shield in the beginning. The game also features environmental deaths, and backtracking to acquire lost experience similar to Dark Souls, so don’t think you can just button mash your way through. There’s also the inventory shown for the first time, with assorted weapons such as staff, swords, hammers and daggers, as well as others items (magic gauntlet, shields) and armour pieces as expected of an RPG. Character development involves improves typical attributes like Strength, Vitality, Magic, Endurance and Luck. The video ends with a with the Champion boss, who we saw in a previously leaked clip.
