0Live-Action Trailer, Screenshots of Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess celebrate planned release in July
Koei Tecmo has issued a trailer and several screenshots to mark the announcement that Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess will launch in North America on 14 July and in Europe on 17 July for the PS4, PS3 and the PS Vita.
The main game – Deception IV: Blood Ties – was initially released for the PS3 and PS Vita in 2014; The Nightmare Princess is an expansion to that title including all of the original content as well as a second playable character. IT boasts of at least 170 traps, ranging from rolling boulders and banana peels to falling bathtubs and even iron maidens, as players will have to strategically deploy these mechanisms to defeat enemies in locations such as amusement parks, hospitals, medieval castles and playgrounds.
The expansion focuses on Laegrinna as she attempts to rescue her father – the Devil – from his prison, while also introducing another female character called Velguirie, who relishes setting up complex traps against enemies. She also has some distinctive abilities that developer as one completes specific quests. Koei Tecmo has also unveiled DLC bonuses depending on where you pre-order the game from:
