The Last of Us Remastered E3 trailer attempts to draw an emotional connection

PS4 owners were very pleased when The Last of Us Remastered received a new trailer at the Sony press conference, showcasing the main characters of the third-person survival title as well as the many obstacles and enemies players will have to surpass in Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic world. While the video was intended to illustrate the emotion aspect of the game, those of you who haven’t got around to the game yet should be aware that some of the scenes displayed are quite spoiler-ish, and will lose their intended impact if you watch it now.

The Last of Us Remastered – which contains the story DLC Left Behind – will be released on 29 July, as well as the Abandoned Territories and Reclaimed Territories multiplayer add-ons. The game focuses on hardened survivor Joel and a young girl Ellie as they traverse America in the aftermath of a devastating pandemic.
