Killer Instinct Season 2 Riptor trailer features dinosaur antics, teases new fighter

We finally get to see the genetically engineered hybrid between a velociraptor and a human in action in this trailer for Killer Instinct Season 2 starring Riptor.

The clip, provided by GameSpot, starts out as a fake promo by Ultratech, highlighting some of their achievements and then moving onto reveal Riptor, an advanced combat-infiltration unit created specifically for “today’s battlefields”. The fighter then proceeds to use its claws, spiked tail and flame breath to take on and defeat an opposing brawler.

Riptor will be available in the Season 2 Ultra Edition, which is priced at$39.99, from 17 February, and in the Season 2 Combo Breaker Pack, which costs $19.99, from 23 February. Finally, as the end of the trailer for the Xbox One-exclusive title also hints at the next fighter to be added to the roster, with a version of Gargos – a demonic antagonist in the series – set to be it.
