Just Cause 3 debut trailer, screenshots ignite a firestorm

The first trailer for Square Enix and Avalanche Studios’ open-world third-person action-adventure is here, and accompanying it are numerous images illustrating the world of Just Cause 3.

While the video titled “Firestarter” is sadly all cinematic, it does point towards what one can expect in the game, which is tons of carnage, explosions and anti-despotic action as protagonist Rico Rodriguez attempts to overthrow an oppressive regime. The end of the trailer also highlights the fact that the all-new wingsuit is bound to add tons of fun, and play an important role in exploration and movement.

The screenshots also show the main character using the wingsuit as well as the grapple, and the latter is especially useful when it comes to attaching explosive barrels to vehicles and so on. The concept artwork shows off more of the environment, with the game set in Medici. Just Cause 3 arrives on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 in Holiday 2015.
