0Hitman launch postponed to March 2016
Some unfortunate news has emerged for those looking forward to the return of our favourite bald-headed assassin. Io-Interactive has announced that Hitman, initially expected to launch on 8 December for the PC, Xbox One and PS4, will now release in March 2016.
The developers have said that the size of the scope, ambition as well as the game world means that the new release date will allow them to add more content to the initial launch; Square Enix and the developers earlier announced that the third-person stealth-action title would be released in chunks with regular content updates planned following its initial launch. Expect to know more about this in the coming weeks and months. Until then, enjoy scrutinising this informative infograph, which gives us a sense of the level size in the upcoming game by comparing the largest level in Hitman: Absolution with that of the Paris Showstopper mission.
