0Hitman launch date, content, pricing details unveiled
Square Enix and IO Interactive have finally announced some concrete details as to the launch schedule of Hitman, as well as it initial content and pricing.
With an initial release window of 11 March 2016, the game will then contain six campaign missions spread across three locations – Marrakesh, Paris and Sapienza – as well as around 800 targets for the contracts mode. Subsequent content updates will include a new sandbox location in April (Thailand), May (US) and June (Japan), which means one can expect more missions, Contract targets, weapons, disguises etc.
As far as pricing is concerned, the entire thing will be available for approximately $59.99 – which also nets one access to the Hitman Beta for PC/PS4 – though one can also acquire the Hitman Intro Pack, which contains the initial launch content, for $34.99. The latter can then be upgraded to access the remaining content if you cough up an additional $29.99. The image below should give you a better picture of this release schedule.
