Halo 5: Guardians heads to Xbox One in Fall 2015; High-Res Artwork, Box Art unveiled [Updated with new concept art]

After more than five months of nothing, we finally get a fresh update on the next instalment in the long-running saga of Master Chief; Halo 5: Guardians will arrive on the Xbox One in Fall 2015. We also have the official cover art and a high-resolution piece of artwork on which the box was based, which you can view below. The images show what appears to be the series main protagonist as well as a new character in nice-looking armour, possibly indicating that the game may feature two different playable characters. Unfortunately not much else has been revealed except that the developers intend to utilise the next-piece of hardware to deliver a superb experience for owners of the platform. You can check out the teaser trailer shown at last year’s E3, to get a glimpse of what the upcoming FPS by 343 Industries holds in store for you.

Update: A new piece of concept art has emerged showing off what appears to be an outpost with fluttering red banners on its domes in a desert canyon.
