0Guerrilla Warfare is the focus of this Homefront: The Revolution trailer
Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver highlight the guerrilla warfare players will engage in while attempting to free occupied Philadelphia in Homefront: The Revolution. Given the limited numbers of the resistance and the scan resources at their disposal, it is imperative to employ tactics of asymmetrical warfare given the overwhelming amount of assets – drones, airships and biometric-locked guns – the invaders can deploy.
The players can customise their loadout at the gunsmith and weapons (with various attachments) on-the-fly in the field, feature which encourage one to modify their arsenal according to the situation. The guerrilla toolkit includes Molotov cocktails (anti-personnel), improvised explosives (IEDs) for armoured vehicles, the RC car, and the hack tool to turn drones and turrets against the KPA. A motorbike can be used to navigate the streets and evade patrols.
Homefront: The Revolution arrives on 17 May for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
