GDC 2013: Nvidia tech demo shows impressive real time destruction

Nvidia has released a new video from GDC, which showcases immpresive new destruction tech. Apparently the destruction physics demo was running real time on GTX 680 with constant framerate of 30 FPS. The video below shows ancient building being destroyed into hundreds and thousands of pieces and particles. However, it seems those buildings aren’t collapsing under their own weight. But Nividia promises to implement that feature in the future.
Such kind of implementation in the game will really enhance the overall gaming experience.
