GDC 2013: New Screenshots for Vampire stealth-action RPG Dark

Deep from the bowels of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, Realmforge Studios has issued a batch of fresh screenshots for Dark, which features newborn vampire Eric Bane in a modern landscape dominated by the mysterious GeoForge Corporation. The images are a reminder that players will need to focus on stealth and cover mechanics while exploring the environment, while gradually building up their unique vampire powers and utilising them to dispatch opponents such as the M17 forces. Apart from the human security forces, one will also get to engage in combat with ghouls (half-vampires).

The game, which features cel-shaded visuals, appears to be quite atmospheric, with an intriguing blend of Deus Ex, Thief and Splinter Cell. One hopes that this vampiric project will not disappoint when it arrives on the PC and Xbox 360 in Q2 2013. Check out some gameplay footage over here.
