Gameplay from Doom’s multiplayer announces Closed Alpha test

Bethesda and id Software have posted a short gameplay video showcasing bits of footage from the multiplayer alpha of Doom.

The clip portends the commencement of the Closed Alpha from 12.01 ET on 23 October continuing until 11.59 ET on 25 October. Containing footage from the PC, Xbox One and PS4 versions, it shows off numerous weapons such as the gauss cannon, plasma rifle, static cannon and rocket launcher, the quad damage pickup, some lovely brutal melee kills, the demon rune which lets the player wreak havoc as a demon, the first-person movement system which lets you mantle and more.
