Fresh Screenshots mark imminent arrival of War Thunder on PS4 on 3 June

Gaijin Entertainment have stated that War Thunder, their free-to-play online historical air combat game, will be available for the PS4 from 3 June in North America, and that it will contain the Ground Forces expansion that entails the use of armoured vehicles like tanks as well as anti-air weaponry on a few maps. Europe already received a port for the PS4 back in November 2013, while the PC saw beta access earlier in November 2012.

Boasting of around 6 million players around the globe, War Thunder features around 350 planes and 150 multiplayer missions in addition to various single-player campaigns and scenarios. After drooling over the screenshots below, you can check out the PS4 gameplay trailer to see the game in motion.
