First trailer for PS4-exclusive Let It Die boasts of gory, fast-paced extreme action

Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture’s PS4-exclusive Let It Die was revealed at E3 with a trailer that mixed live-action bits and gameplay sequences, concentrating on the premise of the extreme action survival game, which sees players start off with next to nothing and acquiring weapons and armour largely from defeated opponents. The somewhat gory clip revealed melee weapons like a spiked baseball bat and morning star, as well as ranged firearms, indicating that each one would have unique stats.

There also seems to be a progressions system in place, as one can see different players appear to be at different levels, though it isn’t clear as to what this would mean – better items, a skill system with new abilities, improved stats? Stay tuned for more on the free-to-play title, which launches sometime next year.
