First screenshots of zombie apocalypse action-RPG Zombasite
Here is the first batch of screenshots from Zombasite, a fantasy action RPG set in a zombie apocalypse, being developed by Soldak Entertainment for the PC, Mac and Linux.
Players will lead a clan of followers, each with their own personality and skills, in the dynamic evolving world where different monsters, including zombies abound. The game’s name comes from Zombasite, a Zombie Parasite which can infect the living in such a way that the dead may still retain a lot of their original skills; this means that if a stalker/regular enemy dies, it could mutate into a powerful opponent.
There are also rival clans to contend with, with options such as diplomacy, trade, war, and raids to choose from, while co-op multiplayer should also add for hours of entertainment with friends. The images depict different areas, including caves and forests, and enemies such as Hellhounds and stalkers (both zombie and infection free). The setting is one of fantasy, wherein dark elves attempt to harness the power of a horde of zombies and their infected victims with magic, unfortunately resulting in the apocalypse. The game is currently expected to launch in Q2 2015.
