First Screenshot of Firefly Online
Quantum Mechanix Interactive and Spark Plug Games’ strategic roleplaying game set in the universe of Joss Whedon’s cult scifi TV series Firefly gets its first screenshots today; the image depicts the player exploring the Verse in their Series 3 Firefly-class vessel. Firefly Online sees players in the role of a captain in not-too-good circumstances like the TV series protagonist Captain Mal Reynolds, attempting to form their own crew, taking various contracts, trading and exploring the Verse in their customisable spaceship.
The game was expected to arrive on the PC via Steam this Summer, with support for cross-save and cross-play for mobile devices. We expect more info soon, including a gameplay trailer ahead of or around GDC on 17-21 March, so stay tuned.
