First-person survival horror title Draugen announced for PC, next-gen consoles; concept art released

Indie studio Red Thread Games has announced Draugen, a first-person survival horror adventure set in the Norway’s atmospheric west coast in the early 1920’s, for the PC and next-generation consoles. Inspired by Norse mythology and Icelandic sagas, the plot revolves around the player’s quest for answers as to the mysterious disappearance of every resident of a remote fishing community, necessitating that one search for clues and explore the surrounding area, while attempting to survive the darkness of the night, to decipher the truth.

The word Draugen is Norwegian in origin and means an undead creature/ghost which has a corporeal body and physical abilities, intent on guarding both treasure and secrets at any cost. Check out the first images, including concept art, of this atmospheric intriguing title below.
