Far Cry The Wild Expedition hits PC, Xbox 360, PS3 in February; Box Art here

To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of one of the most entertaining open-world shooter franchises, Ubisoft has announced a comprehensive compilation of said titles; Far Cry The Wild Expedition will release on 14 February in the UK for £29.99 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The aforementioned pack consists of:

Far Cry Classic – This is the HD revamp of the first game in the series, which starts with Jack Carver being hunted by mercenaries and mutants on a beautiful archipelago. Far Cry 2 changes the setting to conflict-ridden Africa, where the player must combat warlords and sickness/malaria in his mission to capture the elusive and deadly arms dealer The Jackal.

Far Cry 3 heard the call of the fans and brought series back to the tropical island setting, with players assuming the role of Jason Brody, who evolves and embraces combat to save his friends when a vacation goes wrong and ruthless and insane enemies emerge. Finally, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is more of a throwback to the good old action flicks of the 80’s and their concept of scifi action; the protagonist is Cyber Commando Sergeant Rex Colt who has to decimate various baddies, rescue the girl and save the world in a dystopian future.
