Far Cry 4 trailer reveals new villain + Season Pass detailed

The latest offering from Ubisoft introduces a new villain in Far Cry 4 while depicting new locations in the fictional realm of Kyrat; we also have official details of the content of the Season Pass for the FPS.

Priced at $29.99/£23.99, the Season Pass can be acquired at the launch of the shooter on 18 November and will consist of “The Syringe” day-one exclusive mission (both single-player and co-op) in which players must attempt to keep a rare recipe from the mitts of Pagan Min; the co-op-oriented “Escape from Durgesh Prison” sees you attempting to escape a prison under the management of former triad gangster/commander of the Elite Royal Guard Yuma; the Hurk Deluxe Pack contains five missions with the titular character (so expect insanity of the good kind); Overrun is a new PvP multiplayer mode in which one can be the Rakshasa or the Golden Path with the aim of capturing and controlling territory around Kyrat; and finally, “Valley of the Yetis” revolves around the protagonist attempting to survive – in single-player or co-op – after crashing on a Himalayan ridge, by exploring nearby caves, scavenging for tools and upgrading the campsite, and defending against the attacks of a cult in the night.

Meanwhile, the trailer below illustrates what can be found in the beautiful Midlands as well as the might Himalayas; the former contains scenic locations, interesting wildlife as well as the Shanath Arena hosted by Dr Noore Najjar. Higher up is the snow-covered mountains of steep inclines, sudden avalanches, wolves, snow leopards and the Durgesh prison – run by Yuma – housing political prisoners.
