0Far Cry 4 NVIDIA GameWorks, Season Pass trailers + PC requirements
And now its time to check out not two new trailers for Far Cry 4, while PC gamers can also peruse the system requirements below to ensure that their rig is up to par.
Fits off, the Season Pass trailer is more of a teaser, and it just shows a brief sequence in which the player is stuck in the Himalayas amidst swirling snow and one can make out what appears to be a hostile Yeti approaching; the Valley of the Yetis campaign will be included in the pass (more on that here).
Next we have a video demonstrating some PC-specific visual enhancements made possible by Nvidia; PCSS enables high quality realistic soft shadows, HBAO+ also aims to provide richer and more detailed shadows while TXAA helps smoothen out those pesky. There’s also more realistic hair/fur, which is noticeable on the varied wildlife you come across in splendid Kyrat, and God Rays enhance how light rays pass through and illuminate objects and landscape.
