0Far Cry 4: Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC arrives 13 January, introduces permadeath
Ubisoft have upped the stakes for Far Cry 4 players looking for a challenge; the Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC launches on the PC and consoles on 13 January, featuring not only a new mission but also permadeath.
The downloadable content, playable in single-player and co-op, tasks the player and Hurk with escaping the confinement of the infamous installation, starting out with nothing in their arsenal. Completing different challenges will help unlock skills and net new weapons, as the player races to reach the extraction point within a set period of time.
However, if you die, the mission resets, with only attained skills carrying over as you start over again. Escape from Durgesh Prison is priced at $9.99; it is a part of the Season Pass – which costs $29.99 – for the FPS.
