Far Cry 4 : Bringing Kyrat To Life – Part 1

Far Cry 4’s developers travelled all the way to Nepal to study its culture, tradition, people and places that will help the team to create a living-breathing authentic Far Cry 4’s fictional Kyrat. In the video below the team went to a Hindu temple called Dakshinkali, where they witnessed a goat sacrifice (animal lovers are warned not to watch the video)

Then they took a trip to Pokhara which is the home town of renowned Ghurkha soldiers where they encounter a retired solider who talks about his experience in the Ghurkha army. We also get to know a bit about their signature weapon called Khukri which is also your primary melee weapon in the upcoming open-world shooter.

Far Cry 4 is set to launch on 18 November for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.
