Dying Light Xbox 360, PS3 versions canned
Techland has a bit of sad news for Xbox 360/PS3 owners looking forward to their open-world post-apocalyptic parkour-based zombie survival action game; Dying Light will not be arriving on the aforementioned platforms and will only launch on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 in January 2015.
The developers have cited “technical limitations” and their intent to release the game without compromising on its quality as the reason behind the move, claiming that combining features such as “realistic, physics-based lighting technology” with the free-running movement and character development system in a vast open world into a fluid experience “is only possible on technologically advanced platforms.”
