Dying Light E3 2014 gameplay trailer has free-running zombie carnage

Techland’s open-world first-person action survival horror game may not be available until 2015, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get a glimpse of what it has to offer in the interim; the E3 trailer contains bits of gameplay sequences depicting the main character indulging in parkour-like movement across the zombie-infested world and bashing some undead skulls in using assorted melee implements.

The second half of the clip shows the stark difference between the days and nights of this savage and brutal world, with the darkness bringing out the stronger nocturnal zombies from their hives out for your flesh, while you scrounge around for supplies and essential items during the day. The video also shows various traps that can be utilised to decimate the infected. Dying Light releases in February next year for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4.
