0Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition trailer highlights console co-op
This latest trailer for the enhanced edition of Divinity: Original Sin delves into the cooperative mode for the consoles.
The upcoming iteration of Larian Studios brilliant turn-based RPG will feature both splitscreen as well as online co-op on the Xbox One and PS4. Moreover, the screenspace stays the same if the two players are together, but splits off dynamically if they separate; this also makes for varied and interesting gameplay as one may choose to enter into combat while another wanders off and converses with an NPC.
The rock-paper-scissors method of solving arguments between the two main characters is still there, and how you decide to progress in quests and deal with the outcome of decision made together…or not, should also be quite interesting. The enhanced edition launches in October.
