Dishonored 2’s announce trailer explained in new video

Arkane Studios’ Harvey Smith sheds a bit of light on Dishonored 2 in the following video, revealing a bit more about the elements in the announce trailer for the same.

He reveals how the player as Emily Kaldwin can pull off all the moves that she demonstrates in the trailer, and that the location is from a mission called “Clockwork Mansion” wherein the main character faces Grand Inventor of Serkonos Kirin Jindosh, who is also a pupil of Anton Sokolov – the Head of the Academy of Natural Philosophy and Royal Physician – whose portrait can be seen behind the desk.

The clockwork soldiers that Emily battles in the trailer are powered by imported whale oil; these are typically purchased by aristocrats who utilise them for protection. While the ones in the trailers have ceramic parts, there are different variants across the game.
