Debut trailer for space combat title Rebel Galaxy

Double Damage Games has unveiled the first trailer for Rebel Galaxy, its singleplayer-oriented space combat title being developed for the PC (via Steam) and PS4, set to arrive sometime in 2015.

The game allows players to choose from a variety of roles, ranging from pirates and mercenaries to traders and heroes, while piloting large customisable spaceships packed with weapons in a vast sandbox universe, which boasts of both a faction system as well as choices based on your conversations.

The trailer showcases some of the main characters in the space opera, while also underlining the Firefly-like humour and tone one can expect in the game, and depicting the fast-paced combat and giving us a brief glimpse at the different ships, such as the Leviathan dreadnaught, that one can gradually acquire.
