Debut gameplay footage of new sci-fi RTS ‘Etherium’

Tindalos Interactive and Focus Home Interactive has released the first gameplay footage of their upcoming strategy RTS title Etherium. In Etherium player will take command of one of the three available factions who are fighting for the resource known as Etherium.

The video below give us an in-depth overview of some of the many units which are available at your disposal including strider-like machines, air units and much more. While explaining some of the base building mechanics, which are very similar to any strategy title. However some of the features in Etherium are unique such as weather related events like sandstorm and blizzards which can actually change the course of the battle. In addition, there are also some turn-based gameplay elements which will allow you take the battle across the galaxy, where you build an invasion fleet inorder to invade your opponents’ territories, spying on the enemy and colonizing planets, unlock new units and skills by evolving your technology tree.

Etherium will be available in early 2015 for the PC
