Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin heads to PC, consoles in April 2015; trailer, screenshots here

Great news all ye Dark Souls fans! Bandai Namco have revealed that Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will be heading towards the PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 on 17 April 2015 across the Americas, and have unleashed the debut trailer and a handful of screenshots from the same.

The title is a compilation of Dark Souls II as well as the subsequent Lost Crowns trilogy DLC, which consists of the Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King chapters. Furthermore, players can expect fresh features via a large-scale update (ver.1.10), that existing Dark Souls II can download for free. This update will add more game content, including an enhanced story with more in-game events and an NPC character as well as all-new enemies to combat plus various gameplay and balance improvements.
