Customisation is king in this trailer for The Crew

This nearly four-minute long trailer for The Crew emphasises the significance of customising one’s vehicle according to the terrain and type of activity one is undertaking in Ubisoft’s open-world action racing title.

Set to arrive on 2 December on the PC, Xbox One and PS4, the game boasts of a variety of environments ranging from urban to off-road and distinctive locations, including major cities across the US. This means choosing from different vehicles and varied specs (Street, Performance, Dirt, Raid and Circuit) to ensure optimum performance.

The Street spec is best for illegal races, while Performance focuses on speed, Dirt is useful for off-road, while Raid is best for those action missions in which taking down an opponent’s car is necessary, while Circuit is most useful for those track races.

Adapt your ride for each terrain! Street, Performance, Dirt, Raid, Circuit… each specs has its own purpose. The Crew features five different specs (street, performance, dirt, raid, and circuit), and you can swap to a different vehicle at any time. Successfully completing a mission or skill challenge rewards players with XP, rank, perks and ingame cash useful for procuring car parts.
