Concept Art of sci-fi action RPG The Surge
Here is some concept artwork from The Surge, an action RPG from Deck13.
Those familiar with the name may recognise the developers from their previous combat RPG Lords of The Fallen. While the latter was set in a fantasy world with a focus on magic and medieval elements, The Surge takes place in a dystopian industrial future Earth; one wherein huge corporations and robotics are key elements, with the former supposedly working for the greater good.
However, similar to the previous game, this one is also going to feature combat which will be challenging but appropriately rewarding. The artwork indicates that the main character will don an exosuit, which allows for players to customise it by attaching various armour and weapon parts to it. The rig also lets players be more agile, and of course to carry out powerful moves, so it appears that cybernetics is going to be a key theme.
