0Check out more than 20 minutes of single player gameplay from Evolve
Turtle Rock and 2K have released a new video for Evolve giving us a solid look at around 22 minutes of gameplay from the single player part of the game.
The first match shown is one depicting the Defend mode from the Evacuation campaign, wherein the player controls a Wraith, and uses abilities such as Body Double and Void against the AI hunters. Furthermore, in the offline campaign one’s experience as a monster adds up, allowing one to progress and experience the full range of skills that one can unlock. The monster needs to destroy designated generators as well as the evacuation ship to win this mode.
The second round puts the player in the hunter’s shoes, as he must now defend those objectives. This means employing all resources at one’s disposal, whether it be deploying sentry guns and arc mines, or opening up with a lightning gun and missile launcher on your massive foe, as we see the player swapping between the four classes on-the-fly.
