Celebrate Bladestorm: Nightmare’s imminent release in March 2015 with this trailer, screenshots

Koei Tecmo have announced that Bladestorm: Nightmare will make its way to the Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on 3 March 2015 in the US and 6 March 2015 in Europe; marking the news is a trailer and some screenshots of Omega Force’s medieval Europe-based strategy title.

Players can step into the shoes of a mercenary and pledge their allegiance to England or France, undertaking missions inspired by a historically accurate account of “the Hundred Years’ War” from 1337 to 1453. In addition, there will be 32 playable characters to choose from in the stand-alone Nightmare mode, wherein one can command assorted army units while developing their chosen character.

The mode puts a fictional fantastical spin on the events, as a mysterious horde of creatures like dragons, giants and demons led by an ostensibly evil Joan of Arc appear, prompting the two kingdoms to put aside their differences and combine forces against the evil armies.
