Capcom announces new Street Fighter IV version with five new characters and additional stages; trailer coming soon

Capcom has revealed a new Street Fighter IV version during their panel at Evo 2013; this will arrives for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in early 2014 for $39.99; those who have the base game need not worry, as they can upgrade to this edition via an update priced at $14.99. The title will contain five new characters – Elena, Rolento, Poison and Hugo pictured above/below as well as one character never seen before in Street Fighter.

There will also be six new stages to battle your opponents, as well as all previously released alternate character costumes; brand new costumes will also be made accessible to those who per-order the game. Additionally, balances will be introduced for the current roster of characters so that the playing field is even. The debut trailer for the game is expected to hit the interwebs shortly, so keep your eyes peeled.
