0Bound By Flame PC Gameplay First 25 Minutes
It’s been a week since the multiplatform launch of Focus Home Interactive and Spiders Studios’ action RPG, and you can view the first 25 minutes of footage from the PC version of Bound By Flame right here. The PC version of the game allows you to tinker with settings such as Shadows, Screen space ambient occlusion (SSAO), Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing (FXAA), Texture Quality, Particles, Anisotropy, Dynamic 3D Scene Resolution and a welcome FOV (field of vision) slider, in addition to the standard resolution, brightness and full screen settings.
The video shows the prologue, which sees the main character crafting and setting traps, defending a location from incoming enemies, using a two-handed sword and dual daggers against various opponents, acquiring skill and feat points by gaining experience and choosing skills from three available trees – Warrior, Ranger and Pyromancer (this unlocks towards the end). The game was tested on Windows 8.1 system running on an i5-4440 CPU at 3.1 GHz, with 8GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 760 graphics card; the footage was recorded using NVIDIA’s ShadowPlay. As you can make out, the game runs quite smoothly on max settings at this configuration, and is not very demanding on one’s rig. Check out our previous articles to know more about the game.
