Battlefield: Hardline trailer, screenshots accompany release date confirmation

EA and Visceral Games have unleashed a new trailer and several screenshots for Battlefield: Hardline, while confirming that the shooter will launch on 21 October on the PC and consoles. The images below showcase the beauty of the Frostbite Engine rendering urban locales, focusing primarily on those chase sequences in cops and robbers movies that we would love to emulate; one of the images also depicts the zipline feature, which looks like something that will be very useful to the criminal element in the game as they move from rooftop to rooftop to infiltrate or exfiltrate a targeted location.

Meanwhile the trailer is called “Enter the Jungle”, and it focuses on the singleplayer campaign which revolves around a young detective’s journey through the corrupt and combative part of Miami, leading to his betrayal and subsequent mission for vengeance against his former colleagues. As expected from a trailer for a Battlefield game, its filled with vehicles chases, bullets, explosions and environmental destruction that leaves you wanting more.
