Battlefield 4 will launch with seven game modes and10 maps
DICE has confirmed the game modes for their upcoming multiplayer shooter Battlefield 4. The game will launch with seven game modes which includes series regular Conquest, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination and two all-new modes one of which is called Obliteration, recently revealed at Gamescom, while the company also hinted on another all-new game mode called Defuse. DICE has also confirmed that the game will launch with 10 multiplayer maps, including all-new gameplay modes.
According to the official Battlefield blog new game modes are described as follows
- Defuse, where players don’t have any re-spawns at all for an even tighter and quicker infantry-only game mode.
- Obliteration, where two teams face off on medium-sized battlegrounds where one bomb spawns in a random central location and the goal is to pick up the bomb and arm it at one of the enemy’s three military installations.
