Battlefield 4 Weapon Customization system detailed with video
DICE has released a new video, showcasing the weapon customization option available in the highly anticipated multiplayer shooter Battlefield 4. The studio says that the game will feature three times the number of weapons, accessories and increased number of accessory slots on all the guns than any its predecessor.
The video below shows a handful of guns, accessories and various ways you can customize your weapons. Each accessory will affect weapon’s in-game and you can gauge the performance of the weapons with the help of a handy visual guide which is displayed on the right part of the screen, that shows weapon stats such as damage, accuracy, hip fire accuracy, range, and stability. For instance selecting an laser sight will increase the hip fire accuracy and attaching an angled grip on a rifle will increase the weapon accuracy. Players can also choose various camos which are divided into different sections including Autumn, Desert, Naval, Snow, Urban and Woodland, to give a unique look to their weapons.
A new option featuring in Battlefield 4 is “Zero” specifically for snipers which will allow them to calibrate the scope to compensate for the bullet drop for a long range shots.
Battlefield 4 launches on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 29 October in North America, 01 November in Europe. The PlayStation 4 version is set for launch on 15th November in North America, 29th November in Europe, and the Xbox One version will be available on 22nd November.
