Assassin’s Creed: Rogue PC announcement accompanied by new trailer, screenshots and artwork

Looks like the rumours are true after all. Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, their open-world action-adventure starring a Templar for the first time in the series, will be arriving in early 2015 on the PC. This happy news is accompanied by a new trailer, and several screenshots as well as art from the game, which releases on 14 November on the Xbox 360 and PS4.

The trailer focuses on the story, which sees former assassin Shay turning rogue after being betrayed by his brethren, and subsequently journeying across the Arctic on his ship carrying out various missions to put an end to his former brotherhood’s plans.

This involves missions of stealth, combat with swords and other assorted items in your arsenal, as well as furious naval combat expanding on that of Black Flag. The images showcase some of the main characters in Rogue, as well as the different and diverse places one will visit during the course of their quest.
