Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag high-res Screenshots and Concept Art depict sharks, ship upgrades and more
Today we have a nicely-sized bunch of images from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, consisting of both screenshots as well as conceptual artwork illustrating the open-world action-adventure set in the 18th century. The screenshots focus on the naval aspect of the game, such as harpooning sharks (if you can) and attacking forts along the coast, as well as acquiring maps and going on treasure hunts; we also see how the dual-wielding swordplay pans out in combat situations on land.
Meanwhile, the art largely focus on your ship, the Jackdaw, and its various weapons such as the Chain Shot, Swivel Gun, Heavy Shot and Mortar; we also see the various types of vessels one can encounter while traversing the Caribbean waters, ranging from the small Gunboats with two cannons to the vast heavily-weaponised Man of Wars – which anywhere between 16 top 50 cannons as well as various others offensive abilities. Do check out our previous articles for gameplay footage as well as more screenshots of the multiplatform title, which releases later this year.
