Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag gets Illustrious Pirates DLC containing singleplayer mission today; images here

Ubisoft has announced that it’s recently released open-world action-adventure is getting some new content today in the form of the Illustrious Pirates DLC. This adds three singleplayer missions on the Black Island, Mystery Island and Sacrifice Island, as well as a similar number of outfits for use in the campaign – Captain Morgan’s Outfit and Stede Bonnet’s Outfits. Captain Morgan’s Silver Flintlock Pistols and Captain Drake’s Swords and Pistols are also a bonus to enhance your arsenal.

Furthermore, expect numerous multiplayer items such as the Astrolab, Compass and Spyglass relics and various visual customisation options for your splendid ship Jackdaw. The entire downloadable content costs $7, but is free for Season Pass owners, and can be procured right now for the console versions in North America; PC dudes however, will have to wait one more day to get their mitts on these goodies.
