Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Freedom Cry DLC Launch Trailer and Screenshots

Ubisoft has released the launch trailer as well as a trio of screenshots for Freedom Cry, the first major story-based DLC for their piracy-themed open-world action-adventure Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The nine-mission downloadable content focuses on Adéwalé, the first mate of the protagonist of the main game, and takes place around 15 years after the event of Assassin’s Creed IV.

Having learned the ways of the assassin, Adéwalé sets to confront his past and free those left helpless and submissive by the slave trade in 18^th century Haiti, aided by new weapons such as the machete and blunderbuss. When it’s time to take to the high seas, his trusty ship – the Experto Crede – is a force to reckon with, and can be employed to crush and decimate the slavers across the Caribbean. Freedom Cry launched today for the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and on the following day on the PS3 and its successor.
