Alien: Isolation – Safe Haven pack trailer introduces fresh challenges

Sega and The Creative Assembly have unleashed Safe Haven, the third Survivor Mode add-on pack for Alien: Isolation, accompanied by the following trailer for the same.

The DLC, which stars Sevastopol Station communications manager Hughes, introduces the Salvage Challenge, wherein players must complete a series of ten challenges to restore communications as time runs out and waves of enemies stand in your path; adding to the tension is the fact that dying during the mission will reset players back to the last saved challenge. However, acquiring points lets players trade them in for saving their progress.

Players will also gain faster access to the Bolt Gun, Shotgun and EMP Mine in the downloadable content, in which they can decide to explore the Bacchus Apartments or the Gemini Systems. Safe Haven also boasts of the Marathon mode that allows one to choose the order of Survivor Mode maps to play.
